Healthcare Solutions Program Manager - San Francisco, CA Company: Waste Management
I. Job Summary
Responsible for maintaining client relationships and project implementation activities required to meet plan projections for timing and financial performance over the contract period. Acts as the first point of contact for clients and implements the services sold by Business Development.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.
- Works with client management to ensure the implementation of the program is achieved on time and within the expected cost parameters. Monitors compliance with policies, procedures and regulations.
- Works with sales management to transition customers from sales to operations and design implementation schedule and operational procedures to help customers to develop goals consistent with service offerings.
- Collaborates with client management to provide creative solutions to problems, share best practices, identify up sell opportunities and promote new products and services.
- Prioritize and manage project tasks with internal and external partners. Determine and acquire resources necessary to complete implementation plans within defined parameters. May assemble support teams and assign individual responsibilities.
- Acts as the primary escalation contact for client service concerns. Provide effective resolution to service problems.
- Design and maintain standard reports that document client project status and budget. Prepare and analyze financial performance reports for Business Development for discussions with clients.
III. Supervisory Responsibilities
This job has no supervisory duties, but may occasionally act as a team lead.

Required exposure to hospital operating conditions including bloodborne pathogens, hazardous chemicals and pharmaceutical material, radioactive waste etc, occasionally.
Ability to wear an N95 respirator in the event of a spill or emergency response occasionally.

The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.
A. Education and Experience
Required: Bachelor's Degree in science, EHS, operations, environmental or business or similar area of study, with minimum of 1 year of related progressive experience working in waste or healthcare environmental management.
Preferred: Masters Degree in Business Administration, or similar area of study, with minimum of 3 years of related progressive experience working in waste or healthcare environmental management. Project management experience preferred.
