This Senior Financial Associate position is a key component of the Finance team supporting the Freedom (Rewards) segment within the Credit Card organization. The individual will partner with the General Managers and Segment Directors in the development, supporting analysis and communication of the financial forecasts, strategic plans, and actuals reporting. In addition the position will work on financial analysis, business case development/approvals, and various ad hoc analysis to assist in driving growth in the business. The team seeks a highly energetic person who has the combined financial, forecast, analytical, communication skills to meet the responsibility of this role. Specific focus/responsibilities - Develop financial Budgets and Forecasts for the Business UnitsProvide routine financial reporting with variance explanations to budget and/or forecasts to the Business Units. Enhance or develop new reports as neededConduct financial evaluations on programs or products for investment decisionsIdentify areas to increase profit and work with the Business Units to implementAd hoc analytical projects and assignmentsThis team is lean and as such, requires multiple back-up and cross-functional responsibilities. Data mining, data analysis, and statistical analysis will be required to meet objectives of team. Must be able to analyze large amounts of data to reach and present conclusions to management.
