Product Engineer, Sr.
An individual with strong project management skills, adept business/product/software knowledge, organizational abilities, and who is capable of bridging customer business requirements to technical feature set and broader market trends, indices, and capabilities. The PE will develop Solution global Engineering working plans for System solutions incorporate with Panasonic product line through market research, competitive analysis, and customer engagement.
A PE will also develop new Panasonic Total Solutions in partnership with Panasonic Global Engineering Team. The SEM participates and acts as Engineering primary advocate on cross- functional development teams. The SEM often has to provide customer use-case examples to engineering and is the primary bridge between PSC Engineering and domain factories technology centers.
The PE drives direct and parallel communication with all business units Technology Center for Product/Process/Development/New technologies related. Drives resolution of Panasonic internal issues. Manage issues associated with product, process, development, and communication.
Drive and develop systematic ways of technology information and data sharing. Centralize ticketing and supporting architecture for global Engineering communication infrastructure.
Frequent domestic travel and occasional overseas travel will be required.
Qualifications
Minimum requirements: Applicants must hold at the time of appointment at least the equivalent of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited US college or university in the following fields: Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics Engineering Technology, Security Engineering Technology, or Physics.
Experiences in managing communication and wireless technologies and products are a must. Experiences working with wireless/communication industrial leaders are plus.
Must be self-starters, creative and have strong interpersonal and communication skills, integrity, initiative, and technical excellence.
