Field Engineer II
Panasonic North America is seeking a full time Field Engineer II- System Solutions and Support for Panasonic Solutions Company. This position will cover Florida for our Toughbook mobile computers and Arbitrator mobile video products.
Job Overview
As the Field Engineer II on the System Solutions and Support Team, youll need excellent technical, communication, and organizational ability. You will work with Area Sales Managers and customers throughout the sales process and product lifecycle. You will be called on to help resolve customer issues and proactively identify potential problem areas. Youll work with technical and non-technical staff in our customers organization to resolve issues and outline the benefits of Panasonics technology. You will need to be an excellent communicator, and you should be comfortable collaborating with engineering, sales, and service teams.

Accountabilities
- Resolve customers technical issues related to computer hardware, software, and business processes. * Provide pre-sales technical assistance to Area Sales Managers through collaboration on account strategy and product demonstrations. * Provide fact-based analysis, which if not correct, could result in significant loss of business. * Manage customer issues to resolution by drawing on support resources from Engineering, Service, and Operations. * Maintain a current understanding of emerging technologies and trends in services, software, and tools. * Travel up to 75% of the time within Florida.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- A Bachelors or Masters Degree in Engineering (EE, CmpE, or a related field) or Computer Science is required, with strong academic performance. * At least 5 years of sales support experience, or an equivalent customer-facing role * Extensive knowledge of enterprise IT environments, including Microsoft client operating systems, back office infrastructure, and mobility management. * Thorough understanding of data networks and networking concepts (IP networks, DNS, routing). * Familiar and conversant with wireless broadband (WWAN) technology. * Familiar with mobile device operating systems, including Android and iOS. * Current Microsoft or Cisco certifications preferred.
