Job Description
As a member of the Compliance Management team, you will help clients gain control over diverse risks through a consistent, coordinated and sustainable strategy. PricewaterhouseCooperaeuros Compliance Management approach is a principles-guided, step-by-step, logical and scalable method that integrates governance, risk and compliance activities into a manageable and sustainable process. Compliance Management Services include:

As a member of PricewaterhouseCoopers Investigations & Forensic Services practice, you will help identify and analyze vulnerabilities in order to manage and mitigate risk. Our in-depth process of forensic accounting diagnosis allows our clients to continue their business, recover lost funds and halt further economic losses.
We assist companies in navigating the labyrinth of government contracts. We analyze government contract issues to help companies resolve disputes involving the pricing, costing and administration of government contracts.
Position/Program Requirements
Knowledge Preferred:
Considerable knowledge and understanding of accounting, auditing or financial analysis. Considerable knowledge of some combination of financial analysis, forensic investigations and financial modeling is required. Experience in government contract consulting preferred.
Considerable industry knowledge of government contracting, with concentrated experience in government accounting. Considerable knowledge and experience ing the Federal Acquisition Regulation, Cost Principles and Cost Accounting Standards to government contracts.
Considerable Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) experience is acceptable if no prior industry experience. Program management experience with aerospace and defense contracts is a plus.
Skills Preferred:
Working experience researching pertinent client, industry and technical matters. Demonstrated client service orientation combined with creative problem solving skills required.
Demonstrated experience identifying and addressing client needs: actively participating in client discussions and meetings; communicating a broad range of Firm services; managing engagements including preparing concise, accurate documents and balancing project economics management with the occurrence of unanticipated issues.

Additional Information Job Type: Full Time Location: San Jose, CA Responsibilities: We are a small, national group that advises companies on governance, risk, and compliance matters, specializing in U.S. export laws and regulations. As a part of the Export Control Services (ECS) team, you will help conduct high level procedural and transactional assessments for companies in various industries, including the technology sector, industrial products, semiconductor, and Aerospace & Defense industries. You will be responsible for developing compliance risk profiles, conducting training sessions on export control matters, and advising clients on the ongoing development of their compliance infrastructure. In addition, you will have the opportunity to provide operational level support to clients in key export control areas, such as restricted party screening, export jurisdiction/classification determinations, and export licensing requirements. You will be expected to participate and contribute to ongoing business development and marketing activities for the ECS practice. You will have the opportunity to work with our colleagues in Europe and Asia, as well as other PwC groups (e.g., Customs & International Trade, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) practice) dealing with international trade compliance issues. Requirements: ? Strong working knowledge of U.S. export regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Must have direct experience with performing export classification determinations under the EAR and/or the ITAR, as well as addressing export license requirements. Experience may include preparing commodity jurisdiction requests, commodity classification requests, and export license applications. Should have working knowledge of SNAP-R and/or D-TRADE. ? Other areas of knowledge should include restricted party screening, Automated Export System (AES) requirements, Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) requirements, and anti-boycott regulations. Experience with encryption controls is preferred, but not required. ? Staff level depends on level of experience. At the senior associate level, minimum 2-4 years of U.S. export compliance experience is required. At the manager level, at least 5-10 years of U.S. export compliance experience is required. ? Must have excellent written and verbal English skills. Must be highly organized and have the ability to communicate export compliance concepts in different ways (e.g., narrative reports, process flow charts, PowerPoint presentations) to all corporate levels, including the executive level. ? Demonstrated ability to gather data on compliance activities, perform analyses against applicable regulatory requirements, and devise and implement recommendations accordingly. Experience with designing and providing export compliance training is preferred. ? Familiarity with ERP systems, such as SAP (including SAP GTS), Oracle, and Tradesphere, is a plus. ? Bachelors degree is required, preferably with some international trade and/or project management coursework. Experience with working in the technology sector is a plus.
